Arrival of IOC President Jacques Rogge in Singapore
Date / Time: 1 July morning
Venue: Singapore Changi Airport VIP Complex
IOC President Jacques Rogge arrived in Singapore during the early hours of 1 July 2005, and was given a warm reception by Mr Ng Ser Miang, President of the 117th IOC Session Singapore Organising Committee. He also met with selected media representatives at the Singapore Changi Airport VIP Complex.

Launch of Olympic Museum Exhibition
Date / Time: 1 July 05, 6.30pm
Venue: Raffles City Atrium
IOC President Jacques Rogge will officiate the launch of the Olympic Museum Exhibition.
Designed and put together by the Olympic Museum and leveraging on the prestige of the 117th IOC Session, the Olympic Museum Exhibition is an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the spirit of the Olympics.
The photos will be available from 9.00pm, 1 July 2005.
Presentation to Head of State
Date / Time: 5 July afternoon
Venue: The Istana
IOC members will meet Mr S R Nathan, President of the Republic of Singapore, on the afternoon of 5 July. Kindly note that media access to the meeting is restricted.

117th IOC Session Opening Ceremony
Date / Time: 5 July 7.30pm
Venue: Theatre, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay
The 117th IOC Session will be officially opened at the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay. The Guest-of-Honour for the evening is Mr Lee Hsien Loong, Prime Minister of the Republic of Singapore.
A limited number of accredited photographers and cameramen, to be determined by the IOC, will be allowed to film the arrival of IOC members and delegates at the Forecourt of the Esplanade, as well as the proceedings and entertainment programme inside the Theatre.
Kindly note that media access to the cocktail reception is restricted.
